Wilson Rothman and David Riedel started recording music together in 7th grade. A decade later they added Clint Bierman on lead guitar, Edward "Tex" Miller on keyboards (he also wrote horn and string charts) and P. Tom Pinit on bass. In later years, Nate Shields picked up where Tom left off.
